I prefer to apply to the root only as this gives you more lift and body without weighing your hair down with product all the way through the hair shaft.
You say you want a specific look?
For body blow dry the root from the opposite direction of growth flipping your head upside down, use a vent brush for maximum fullness (this is what I do) For straight hair blow dry from root to ends with a paddle brush or round brush.
I wasn't too sure if I believed them.

大雨でだいぶあせりました。発送は早かったので、助かりました。自動でみずを吸い込まれているので、らくです。

香りが良く、洗い上がりもサッパリします！子供も気に入って使っています。

期待をしていましたが、だいぶ控えめな香りでした。でも、ラストまで変に変化せず、ずっといい香りでした。「平和の香り」の名に相応しいのかもしれません。
