【Like a virgin? Yes!!】
My hair looks like it has never been touched by chemicals.
Darn skippy!!
This stuff blows the other two products away and that is saying a lot!!!!
This miracle in a bottle comes in a clear plastic four-ounce bottle with a black flip open cap.
The marinade is a deep, almost burnt, orange.
The "olive" is printed on the front of the bottle, but it is nearly impossible to read because it is in tiny black letters against the dark background of the marinade.
The directions and ingredients are on the back and I could not read them because of the same reasons and had to consult the web for instructions.
That is the end of my gripes with this product.
The marinade is slightly thicker than water and deep orange.
It is not oily like I thought it would be.
This is a weekly treatment designed to be used in conjunction with the Shear Splendor Shampoo and Conditioner.
I was super leery of this product.
The last thing my long, fine, straight hair needs is to be dragged down by oil.
The ends are dry and my hair is color treated and highlighted.
It is super thirsty but, when I deep condition it, it becomes limp and lifeless.
However, the representative for OLIVE promised me (and everyone watching the sales pitch) that this treatment was not oily and would not drag hair down or make it greasy so I gave it a shot.
I applied a good sized palmful (quarter size) because I have hair that is now down to the middle of my back.
Obviously, if your hair is shorter, you will need to use less to cover yours.
I did note that my hair wasn't feeling greasy. Obviously there was a coating of something on it but it didn't feel oily like I expected.
I decided to keep the treatment on overnight the first time.
I had no plans the next day so, if my hair ended up greasy and lifeless, I wouldn't have to venture out looking like I hadn't washed it weeks like I have done when using other deep conditioning treatments.☆☆☆☆☆
